Question on SR cooling and AC

Ok I know that if you have AC on the SR that having the condensor infront of the Rad and behind the FMIC, will provide alot of air flow restriction.
My initial question is why, besides that reason, do the SRs run hot with AC?

To help on the condensor blockage problem, do you think it would be efficient to use a condensor mounted to the side of the FMIC, similar to a oil cooler but have if run the AC? That way it will be cooled and also there won't be the large condensor blocking the Rad.

Just a thought I had, seeing as I'm running AC on my SR.

lol, well I have Flex-lite fans...could it be possible that the motor isn't running as strong as it used to, thus not cooling very well?

Your best bet is to either cut hole(s) into your front bumper to allow more airflow to go through into your cooling system.

After cutting the front bumper on my car, my temp stayed stable at around 195 degrees F. Before, it was climbing over 200 degrees, and I wasn't very comfortable with that.

For our SR's with A/C, we have kept the stock mechanical fan and added a single electric, which has worked well even with a big front mount intercooler.

Well, I don't have any radiator panels (top or bottom), and I only have the clutch fan with shroud. Shit, the shroud isn't even bolted on or anything. It's ziped tied on, and I had to cut the shroud to clear the AC drier. So there are mad gaps everywhere around the shroud.

Only thing I think saved me, was the fact that I ran Redline water wetter (the whole bottle) and ran 85/15 or 90/10 water/coolant mixture.

And the hole I cut on the front bumper.

Now it's like 100% water + water wetter.

Don't worry, will add some coolant soon.

what kind of fans are you guys using for your condensers?, stock?, aftermarket?, which brand? My condenser fan motor went out, so im thinking of whether i should "rebuild" it and buy a new motor, or go with Greddy's 9 inch puller fan..
