Question 5 Lug Extended Studs?

Anyone know of any good sites/shops that carry ARP extended studs?

Also, anyone know of the part numbers by any chance.

I need S14 studs for the front, w/ them 10-12mm longer than the rear b/c I got a custom 12mm hubcentric spacer made.
and 300ZX rear hub studs.

I noticed the sites that carry these have mutliple fitment options:

Wheel Stud Style: Press-in, Screw-in
Thread Size: 12mm x 1.50 RH, 1/2-20 RH in., 7/16-20 RH in.
Knurl Diameter: 0.485, 0.509, 0.486, 0.580, 0.625, 0.680, 0.568, 0.618
Underhead Length : (in)1.850, 2.850, 3.165, 3.200, 3.500, 3.470, 3.125, 2.970, 3.050, 2.500, 3.250
Knurl Length: (in)0.275, 0.400, 0.315, 0.420, 0.300, 0.710, 0.800

Or any other recommended studs to use???

I used the arp #100-7708 back when I was 4-lug on my s13. These will only work on s13 hubs and s14/z32 rear hubs. All I know of for the s14 front hubs is gonna be nismo, which are way more expensive than arp. The arp's can be had from summit racing for about $15.

I had picked up a set of 60mm nismo studs from performance nissan in duarte. I think they were going to $60 for a set of 10.

all u need is a micrometer and start measuring the stock ones ... and basically look at the list that arp offers.. and pick the right one...

S13 its 14.3mm knurl on the front and 13.0mm on the rear if I remember correctly... I have to double check!

Check the misc section on pdm-racing.com , I think only s14 front is different size...s13 front, rear and s14 rear is the same (arp 100-7708).

I just went and took a look at the S14 hubs...

S14 = 14.3mm Knurl Front / 13.0mm Knurl Rear (for 5 lug hubs atleast)
Z32 = 14.3mm Knurl Front & Rear

What about the lug nuts for extended studs?

What are some good ones? Do they have any type of locks? Where can you get them?

Its all the same as far as lug nuts and locks...

you can use your existing ones as long as you do not have too much open threads left... like if you use a really small spacer or no spacer at all with a 60mm hub bolt... in that case you will need Open ended lug nuts...

we have many types of differing lug nuts and lock sets available that work with standard hub or even longer hub bolts

Haha,....That would've saved me a lot of time/trouble.

Thanks for all your help though Jason!
(I actually needed the shorter ones, but it's cool...I'll guess I'll just have to get used to the long ones, as I spot welded them in for extra support )

Moroso makes them for the front. Search on summit racing, they are like .1 mm off, but they work.

S14 Front - ARP 100-7717 - ARP Wheel Studs - Overview - SummitRacing.com which are ARP. these are the same for ichiba hubs. but you will have to use honda pitch threads of 1.5

if you want to use the stock lug nuts you have to get the wrx. mine are 3" long lol.
