So this saturday was another Frank And Son's collectors meet, ie. NerdConvention. But not really. Things from Transformers (first generation NIB Convoy Optimus, LE LeoConvoy NIB) dating back to the very FIRST transformers NIB, grayscale, to Limited Edition Mint Uncanny XMen, to JDM goodies, to swords and airsoft guns, apparel, cell phone trinkets, DVDs, character busts, toys, the works. Its always a plethora of random collectors' items.

here are a FEW pictures, as they told me i couldn't take any (possibly copyright infringement)

Walls and walls of collectors actionfigures, from the Avengers to HardGay.

i guess this is a limited ed. Akuma, or something. I saw this one like, 2 weeks ago at EBGames go for 20ish. WTF mate.

Pin Collecting anyone?

Comic collection at one booth (didn't have many good ones tho)

This guy got ALOT of business cause he said everything was priced as is. He didn't sort out the comics too well as he was ripped soo many times for having limited edition comics. One bundle had Detective Comics (IIRC) with the first appearance of Batman and only sold for 50bucks.

the convention part is actually koo...ive grew up on marvel. Spiderman or xmen but that was soo 15 yrs ago. Thats why im stoked that marvel suddenly blew the fook up and started producing some quality movies. And i say SOME.

I woulda bought, but i only had my mini-atm card, and it didn't fit into any ATM machine.

It sucked balls i couldn't capitalize.

Next time (this wednesday) i wanna go grab some of those comics. I was tempted to buy a cast IronMan helmet. They had the Magneto, but he was way too over-powered.

man i used to collect these comic cards when i was a kid.. marvel masterpieces, marvel universe, x-men, x-men ultra.. musta spend like 1-2Gs on them. now its worth shit.

i love frank and sons. it's a good place to completely nerd out b/c of everything jdm and the comic book goodness.... hehe

and the action figures. omg. yummmy.

last time i went, i had to leave my wallet in the car because i knew i was gonna end up buying something.
