How hot is TOO hot? KA24 Coolant temp?
Just wanted to know.. I think my car has a BHG, cause it hits ~200F driving in town WITH a clutch fan and NO shrowd.

Clutch fan + shroud = awesome cooling, but it sounds like a truck.

Clutch fan with NO shroud...might as well have a 8" FAL on there...it moves air, but not across the radiator.

Either:

1) Find a shroud

2) Swap to Altima fans
