What type of paint should I use when painting the interior. Also, where can I get it. Thanks.

If your planning on painting the plastic pannels, you shouldn't. I did it and at first it looked real nice but but after a week it, it looked real shity. It comes off real easily. I recomend that you get some vinyl sheets and glue or do something to make it stay over the things you were going to paint. (I think thats close to what the pros do)
BTW, I painted my interior with vinyl spray paint that I got from Hoime Depot |

Ok I'm goin to teach you all something here. KRYLON. 9 coats on all the plastic pieces. I have had it on there for over a year now and there are no scratches, no dullness and it shines nicely with Armor-All. If you need a pic email me direct.

If you take the plastic pieces and use really fine sandpaper to ruff em up, then primer it with primer from walmart. The walmart paint "Color Spray" Premium Enanel. i did this several months ago and i have no complants yet and my interior goes through hell.

I second that.....Krylon Epoxy Enamel.......gloss black. The secret it to use some degreaser spray to remove all the crap (armor all) that builds up on the plastic....before you paint it. Use degreaser........then once youve totally done that....rub it down with lacquer thinner to make sure nothing is on there. Spray it evenly.......let it dry overnight....then give it another coat. Taking out and painting the dash will take the whole weekend......the door panels will take another weekend...and everthing else will take a final weekend. Dont use they Krylon plastic/fabric Spray Dye...that stuff sucks...I used it the first time and had to scrape it off with a steel bristle brush...and I still have more to do. When you take everything off to paint it.......label all the screws, plugs, pins, etc...so you know where they will go when you install them. I repainted my roof lining with the black spray dye...and it worked nice...but dont use it on hard plastic....it just doesnt wanna stick.
The key to this job is PATIENCE. Sure you'll have to wait overnight to let it dry before you can give it a second coat....but its worth it. Trust me, do it right the first time so you dont have to re-do it like I did (and am still doing) good luck, -m

I used a vynal spray bomb from a local paint suppy store.
I changed everything that was brown to black. it look hella better. Make sure you clean it really well, there is a special silicon remover that you can use that comes in a can. good luck! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]() |

i work at a body shop and would'nt advise anyone to paint anything from the int with krylon,i've had to paint many int parts where the krylon was used and is now flaking, you could use the krylon but before you do get you some bulldog adhesive promoter,it helps paint bond to plastic's and clearing it would help to.also get a piece of dark red scotch bright to ruff up the plastic before you do anything.
