I'm trying to change the lights for the speedometer/gas gauge ect. on my 92 240sx to make them blue. I know this is probably a dumb question, but I can't figure out how to get to the speedometer assembly really. I got the 2 phillips head screws off, but I can't find anymore screws. Do I just pull the whole dash piece out?! Please HELP!!! Thanks

Don't know about the s13, but just try takin the trim pieces around it off and looking for the screws. If its like the s14, there should be 2 on top and 2 on the bottom holding it in.
If you tug on it a bit, you should be able to feel about where its held in.
Good luck w/ it

1. Drop the steering column. (one bolt on center bottom).

2. Remove the outer cluster trim.

3. Unbolt two screws/bolts (one on bottom, one on top) on the cluster housing.

4. Remove screws/bolts off of cluster (sides/corners).

5. Pull out gently. Bulbs are marked with orange knob-like buttons. Twist and pull.

remove the lower dash trim by your sterring column there will be a steel plate holding up your steering column two 12 mm bolts and just follow the rest of s13grls instructions

1. take off the side step- 5 or 6 plastic screws (or at least 2 screws closer to the kick pannel)
2. take the kick pannel off- 2 screws and 1 plastic screw
3. take the lower dash trim- 5 or 6 10mm bolts and 2 screws that's holding the hood lever
4. take the steering column off- 6 metal screws
5. take off all the switches- push down the release buttons on the connectors (easier if you push out the switches instead of pulling it)
6. remove the outter cluster- 2 screws facing up
7. get the speedometer assembly out- 4 screws and 3 connectors, left, right, and center, (like the ones on the switches) that on on the back of the speedometer assembly
8. change the bulb with what ever color you want

getting 6. is pain in the ass, you some how twist and tilt the wheel and get it off. it'll be easier if you get the tilt lever off which I tried but one of the 14mm bolt didn't turn so I did it the hard way (putting it back was harder for me). but the most hardest thing was getting the right color.
