ding ding ding. yes sir its your water pump. Their is a small hole on the bottom of the pump which will go bad and cause the leak. AND its pretty simple job, make sure to scrape off the excess gasket off the block when u take the old pump out.

Oh and next time search this tech section, because this has been covered i am sure of it...

+1^^^ It is the water pump, and you need to replace it ,even if it doesnt seem to be leaking get another one. there is nothing worse than doing the samething twice. Get a nissan pump too. check your belts wile you are at it.

yes thermo can be somewhat of a pain to do if u do separate. much easier to maneuver the thermostat housing without the fan clutch and fan blade.

that thing is what drives your oil pimp. and if your having any fluid leaks it might be a couple of things. first off the water pump as u said before the blades might be broken or just too worn, the thermostat might be sticking making too much pressure, or even that you have a hole in the radiator. do a pressure test.

"Oil pimp" Hope thats a typo and you meant to type water pump.

But anyways, you got it pulled, swap in a fresh one. You said theres some play on the pump, so its fubar, dont go cheap and replace the damn thing with a new one.
