Car won't start

I have searched and found some suggestions, Ive tried them. now im just looking to see if there is anything else i can try.
I was finishing up my turbo setup the other day, and the positive battery cable hit my intake manifold, it sparked quite large. I thought it was my fusible link, so we changed that, and it fixed nothing.
All of my electronics work. the key will go to the on position, and it acts normal. It's just when you go to turn it on it wont start. I get clicking from the fusebox in the floor, and in the hood, and ive tried relays from my buddys car and nothing changes. I can push start the car, and put a screwdriver to the starter and it works. any other ideas would be greatly apprecaited
sorry for the long post
thank you
kevin

there is a starter relay OUTSIDE of the fuse/relay box. In between teh battery and the fender. Check that.

Did you ever remove the distributor? Or check for spark? Listen for fuel pump to turn on?

S14s do not have a starter relay like the S13 does.

There's a clutch interlock relay that does a similiar function in the main fusebox.

I dont have one of those between my battery and fender (nor in it it seems). Im also having a problem with my starter I just bought about 1 month ago. Starting to just keep "whirring" with the key out of the ignition.
