1999 KA into 93 hatch

Just wondering if there are issues swapping in a 98 KA into a 93 hatch. I was concerned with the wiring harness. I'm pretty sure the engine/tranny will have no issues, just thought the wiring might cause a problem. The 98 is an SE 5speed, my 93 is an SE 5speed, both have ABS and basically the same power options.
thanks in advance

Are you sticking with OBD1 or changing it to OBD2?

thanks for the info, I guess I'll have to use the 93 harness.

Use the block, it will be fine. If youre putting a obd2 engine in a obd1 DE s13 just use the manifolds off of the OBD1 engine.
It works fine for me.
