Engine light went on and I found out it's the "EGR transducer." What is this and what do I need to get to replace it? Where is it located and is the installation easy? Its an EGR Valve ( Exhaust Gas Recirculation). Look for a tube about 1-1.5 inches coming from your exhaust and follow it. On my 91' its on the pasenger side near the firewall. Its round, maybe 2 inches?

the egr on my 98 is on the leftside near the firewall right under the intake plenum,my check engine light is on for the same thing good luck getting that tube the runs to exhaust off with out removing the plenum,if you get the egr valve off clean it with some carb cleaner,its most likely carbon buildup.
