SR Walburo Fuel pump intall Question

I just installed the new fuel pump in my S13 FB, Question was did anyone else have a hard time closing the cover? I had to move up the fuel pump a little because the filter was sticking pretty low. Anyone else have this same problem? I got it closed but was just wonder with pump getting pressed really hard will it have a problem getting fuel? Car starts up and runs fine. I dont have a fuel puressure gauge to how much is flowing, but i will get one soon. Whats the avg puressure im suppose to get when i do get one. thanks for taking your time to read and help out. Any comment is welcome

you had hard time closing cover because the fuel o-ring expand when it got exposed to air, get a new one from nissan 16$. the walbro is shorter then the stock pump but its still suppose to sit at the lowest point of the bracket, did you insert the rubber piece between the pump and the bracket? if the filter is hitting the bottom then your doing something wrong, reckeck and reinstall, and use zipties to hold the pump.

PS use heatshrink were you solder the connections from the walbro to the stock wires, electrical tape disolves in gas as i found out lol
