I just wanted to know if there was any difference in the strut tower bars on an SR20 compared to the KA24DE. Is there any clearence issues between the different engines and the bar?

Cause I plan on going SR in the future and I'm in the market for some strut tower bars now, I don't want to spend money twice so I just wanted to know if any bar will clear both engines fine, or if there will be issues with one engine or another.

You might have such an issue with the ~$20 eBay specials..but I can't confirm that. Other than that you won't have any issues...I suggest this one...

the sr is shorter. so if you have a KA with new mounts, clearance may be a problem if you use a japanese made bar (most are made with the SR in mind). a KA with its stock mounts should fine with clearance since they will be worn and sagging.

I have a tubular type Greddy STB. It's like a couple mm from touching my KA's valve cover with Nismo mounts.
