how to run stock 11 lbs boost on t25 without a boost controller?? (pix)

oay so i heard that u could run 11 lbs with out a bc by switching some lines/hoses .... so im trying to find out if its true and if so what hoses/lines do i switch and to wear ????

this is the area i was told u switch the lines from i was told that not all 240's have this part and not everyone knows about it so if u can help me out that would be great thanx!

LMAO i was thinking the same thing lol.

Yah usually people delete that whole "solenoid" thing and straight tap the hoses to thier destination.

One way to raise boost is to "shim" the actutator or something

its only a hundred bucks dude come on!! safer too since with a boost controller your stressing an acuator that isnt ment to hold most boost than its suppose to and with crappy b/c u can fuck some shit up =P hks actuator ftw

haha yeah some shop dont even wanna say any names lets just say they fucked it all up bad after getting it out i still had 2 other shops and my self work on it to make it run right as a matter a fact it bearly started to run good this week .... so i guess ill just wait till i get a bigger turbo and then do it the right way and get a electronic bc well thanx anyways guys

get the HKS actuator like already posted. Its great and works flawlessly. Im running it and have no complaints.

12psi HKS here, works great. don't have to worry about spikes from a boost controller either.

so by replacing just the stock actuator to a HKS actuator i can boost to 12psi safely with any other mods like intercooler, maf, injectors on a stock sr20det redtop????

sorry let me refrase that without anyother mods such as fmic,bigger maf, hi flow fuel pump or should i have all these installed before changing the acuator???

I would get a fuel pump first at the very least. It was recommended to me to put one in during my swap. I went with the inexpensive walboro 255. MAF you dont need until you get bigger injectors and bigger turbo. I am installing my fmic before upping the boost simply because it is really hot here in Georgia and I need that front mount.

well i have a mbc in all realy but its wiered it only hold 11 sometimes if i hold the throtle 75% down if i hold it all the way it will only hold 7 i think i might just get an hks

the oem location for the ignitor chip is in that location.
