How do i change the engagement point on my clutch pedal?
This might be a fairly dumb question, but i was wondering how i can change my engagement point on my clutch pedal. The engagement is pretty high on my clutch pedal and my friend's corolla engages right off the floor.
Is it just the freeplay nut? Once i loosened the freeplay nut it just spun freely. Nothing moved at all. I just tightened it back the way it was. No change in the point of engagement or anything. Is there something i'm missing? bleed the clutch perhaps? What change will a clutch bleed result in? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance. |

there is a locking nut on the pedal itself, u loosen it, then actually turn the rod that it is on. I forgot which way, but if u search its been covered many times

doesn't mater what car. they're all the same on the clutch master cylinder. There's a locking nut and push rod on the clutch peddle. i adjust mine while driving around the neighborhood.
