I have a 1990 240 and I'm thinking about getting urethane bushings. wondering if they are a pain to install and what tools a

take shit off
use press
or be very clever with hand tools

very easy if you have a press
bit of a pain if you don't

It is a pain in the ass. If you plan on doing it yourself, then I would highly suggest a bench vise, torch, and a sawzall. Try to find a shop that has a press. Take off all the parts and have them press out all the bushings. Install the bushings and get an alignment. Might as well take off the subframe and get new bushings for them also.
