Q45 brake problems??

Are there any problems when up grading to Q45 front calipers that I have not read about? I have looked around a bit but the most I could find was some ones stock rear brakes where heating up and being eaten through kind of fast, other then that I have not seen anything.

I have done all the reading I can on the matter, now I just need some one who has done it already to tell me I will be fine. Though I’m sure I will be…

I need reassurance, lol.

I hope this is the right thread, if not MODs please move, thanks

They're fine. Make sure you get a set with brackets or you'll have no way to mount them.

SEARCH

Stopping power will be comparable to to 300zx except you don't need conversion lines and you'll have more wheel clearance.

SEARCH

If you have an S13, get S14 rear brakes while you're at it.

SEARCH

Pad selection is limited, but Porterfield makes their R4-S compound pad for it, www.porterfield-brakes.com, very cheap and tell them you're a NASA member for 20% off.

I did search, I even stated I searched. I even stated what I was looking for in an answer so there was no confusion. Yet still some how you always feel the need to be a douche bag, why is that? I searched so far back that I found one of the posts where you asked about them... that must have been before you knew everything.

Thank you for your help despite your true nature showing through, you seem to be a good guy sometimes.

It’s an s14 and I went ahead and put on new rear calipers as well. partly... mostly because they where leaking.

Why do you need to bitch about getting the answer to your fucking question?

Your post did not state that you searched; you said you "looked around a bit." Had you truly searched you would know the pros/cons of Q45's already.

Even if you did search, consider my directions as a friendly reminder accompanying the spoon fed advice.
