before the mega flame starts...dude this stuff is pretty simple to do. look around here or on the internet and locate a FSM for your s14. everything youve asked plus more will be there. it will answer these question and help you understand your car more in the long run.

yea well about the flaming part. i could careless. i am 26 not 15. i just bought my first 240sx.. i might know my fair share of hot-to's but what better way to learn about these greatly appreciated cars, by just asking ppl who has owned them for a while. i have posted a couple of threads and got a few asshole like responses, which got ignored.
i appreciate you helping me out, i beleive i glanced at the fsm a minute ago. let me go find it again... thanks again man! |

most of the tune up jobs are not that bad actually very easy but the pcv valve not so much if i remember correctly you have to remove the intake manifold not fun at all. long story short that is why I have a brand new pcv valve sitting on my desk as a paper weight

Because you have good intentions, I dont think I have the heart to flame you =P Plus everyone has to start somewhere when it comes to motors. Not everyone realizes that on here but oh well. anyways:
download the Factory Service Manual (FSM). For anything Factory related, IE replacing factory parts, its just about all you need. As a newb, and being 26, (meaning you have common sense) try and use the search function as much as possible before making posts on zilvia with questions. Otherwise you just get flamed and never get answers. which is not what you want. This crowd can be really bitchy when it comes to previously asked questions, especially the ones that are asked every week. But theres some good threads and knowledgable members on these forums so stick around and try to figure out how things work. Search for the 240SX FSM, its on here, or on google somewhere. www.zeroyon.com might also have it. Goodluck. |
