No way in hell would someone suggest them if they have ridden on quality coilovers. Only people I can think that would suggest Krap-sport coilovers are ones who only had stock blown suspension to gauge from. To take this one set further, I highly doubt you will really, "track" your car. Because you are worried more about ride comfort than performance. Learn how to form a popper sentence. After that take a dose of fucking common sense. Don't come at me angry because I said your shit stink.

If you can't even take the time to ensure your question is well thought out and easy to read for other members then it's clear you're not actually looking for help. Plus, those who would be willing to help aren't going to buy an ebonics dictionary just to enlighten you. That's why your typing skills should be a concern to you. |

they fucking suck, there isnt too much to explain, they're just cheap rebrands made in a cheap factory cutting corners wherever they can.
If you're cool with that, then buy em and prove us all wrong, however you're much better off taking the time to save up money and researching a good coilover brand. |

I condone my grammar the same was in person as I do online. Right now I perceive you as a someone who doesn't have much education/verbal skill.
If you want your car to look cool cut/buy lowering springs since you're so cheap. But you won't find reliability, quality and, cheapness in the same place. Sorry, it won't happen. If you can't handle a few bumps in your car then maybe you shouldn't mod it. But if you keep at it the way you wish, you will have a s13 that's like every other pos out there. You asked a question that has been covered MANY times. I replied with an answer. Other members replied with an answer. Yet you still think someone is going to come out and say that they are the greatest thing since sex. NOTHING has changed since the old threads have been posted. They stucked then. They suck now. In the future they will continue to suck. /thread

When you think about it, though, where are these companies getting their valves/ pistons from? They all claim to be serviceable, but no one has any documentation of it. I've seen both Stance and KSport reps offer dyno plots but never back it up. I've seen both Stance and KSport sponsored drivers mention rebuild documentation and never back it up. Doesn't anyone think it's odd that all these "cheapo" companies came out around the same time? Or that when Stance leaked that they're offering external resevoir shocks, so did KSport? *shrug* maybe I should inquire about sponsorship myself. So far, though, the only positive feedback that I'd actually even marginally trust has come from a KSport driver, running their 2-way external res. shocks. In partial defense of KSport: they offer 3 series atm. It seems that most people mention the "cheaper" version saying they suck, and most people mention the "pro" version when they say they don't suck. Personally, I bet both have the same valving, with different shock bodies. I've been debating going with a cheapo external resevoir coilover for a while (to replace my D2's, which have been adequate for motorsport use, for the most part). At 1/3 the cost of a "real" set of coilovers (Motons. Haven't found Ohlins or Penskes for the S-chassis yet), it's a gamble. My other option is Koni 86xx's, but the twin tube shocks are reportedly bad at keeping up on the rougher surfaces, and the 28xx's I've been advised against street driving on. Hope that helps.

KSport is a decent entry-level coilover setup. Entry-Level means you get your foot in the door with height adjustment, dampening adjustment and camber adjustment. The guys "bashing" them would rather have you spend $1500 instead of $700 on your setup, when it's not really needed if you just want something better than stock. Really I don't know how much better of a driver that would make you if you're coming off of a stock setup -- coilovers are going to benefit your ride handling and skills no matter what brand you choose.
I've used the KSports for the last year and I will tell you that they're OK for daily driving and light practice. If you're looking at KSports then you're most likely on stock suspension, and they are a million times better than that stock shit so you will be happy with them in that regard. You might want to look at the KTS coilovers, they are similar priced and have a slightly better reputation (mostly because they are pushed by a very reputable dealer, SPL). I finally blew the front right dampener on my KSports after 1.5 years and 8000+ miles and tons of practice and a couple events... I'm upgrading to Stance GR+ Pro. And learn to type, it makes you come across as some nitwit kid who has no business modifying their car.... GL |

I have them on my S14 and they feel really stiff.
They're good on a smooth track. They're abysmal on roads with potholes and miscellaneous irregularities.

yw, good luck on your upgrade. You'll be happy with whatever you choose, considering you're stepping up from the absolute bottom rung of the suspension ladder -- blown stock shit...
