I was wondering if there was a common cylinder that gets the hottest in the s13 SR20det under wide open throttle. Iam goin to drill into my manifold to hook in EGT. Or is it something I will need a infared gun for and go to the dyno and find out?

You do not want your EGT reading off of only 1 one of the cylinders. But to my knowledge 4 is the most starved? It might be 3. I cant fucking remember. Somebody knows

most ive seen it happened on #4 cylinder with melted piston.

Yeah It Would Be Nice To Run Egt On All Four But It Does Cost A Lot More....thanks For The Input Anyone Else No That It Is 4?

well individually it would be super baller and the ligit way to do it. But uh, thats EXPENSIVE. Unless you just tune it as such and thats it. But you have it where they all merge generally..

Drill into the turbine inlet and get all the cyl's.

i put mine on cylinder 4

I know on 4G63s its Cylinder #3, not sure about SRs though

cylinder #2 ring lands are known to go on the S13 sr
