my boy wants to trade me his used apex-i world sport coilovers (stiff spring rates 8/10 non dampering adjustment) it has 70k+

for my agx+gf210 with 11k on it..

think its worth it? im worried about the how much life i got left on the coils. also as anyone used them? my boy wants to get rid of them becasue he used them for a year and they are too stiff for him.

please dont flame if you dont have anything to contribute to this topic.

Its a decent trade, though the mileage difference is large. The World sports springs are perfectly matched to the dampers. They are actually not that stiff when it comes to coilovers. I would say you have to ride in his car and decide if you like them bette than your AGX setup. That would be a reason for trading. Also keep in mind World Sports are no longer made. Apexi will service them but you cannot get new replacements. On the other hand used AGX's and springs are only worth $200-350. In the end the decision lies with you.

i drove the car shortly on local roads, its alot stiffer then my agx. it feels like my agx's on 4/8 maxed out.. but i dont really care about the stiffness. i love a firm feeling car.

my main concern is how much life the ws have in them i mean 70k is alot of milage.. i dont want them to crap out in about 4-5 months.. i would love coilovers and i think they are a good starting point, i just dont want them to go on me i cant afford to buy new ones or even spring/struts again. when i trade its a even trade and my boy will throw in $50..

so im not sure..

i dont think anything is wrong with them, hes my boy + he works with me everyday so i dont think we would trade me faulty sh*t.

I wouldn't. They have lot of miles on them.

id sell him my AGX and go buy a set of new coilovers. 70K is a lot of mileage and if the roads in your area sucks, or he doesnt drive slow, hitting steps and potholes daily for 70K miles can mess those things up pretty bad
