s13 14 rear caliper

I'm trying to get my rear driver caliper on my s14 replaced due to ebrake problem. I found s13 calipers for really good price. I hear some people saying they are the same and some ppl saying they are different. Will i be able to use the s13 calipers without any problems? s14 is base with no abs, s13 is a 92 no abs.

Thanks!

they use a different e brake mechanism, you would have to modify your e brake lines to use the S13 calipers on your S14.

I think you can use them cause I put a five lug conversion on my S13 and used S14 hubs and rotors with my stock calipers. I don't see why they wouldn't work with little or no modification on your car. I'm almost positive they are the same. Or just upgrade to Z32 brakes. WOO HOO!

i have s14 rotors but s13 calipers, they are interchangeable, BUT, from what i've read, the s14 are slightly bigger or something (better), but they still use the same pads?

dunno, it's not that much better (from what i've read), so who cares, it works, do it

Wrong, same size caliper and pad carrier, direct swap if you also use the ebrake bracket, but the cable end is not the same. You have to adapt/modify it to attach the cable correctly.

the e brake is different. I'm serious. it doesn't bolt to the caliper the same way.

if you're going to call people out, you should probably be right. the s14 calipers are different, the piston is bigger, 38.18mm vs. 33.96mm. you can use the s13 calipers (you'll have slightly less rear braking power, but who cares) but you should use both. if you don't, you'll get uneven rear braking which could lead to a spin.
