You know they do, all SR blocks are the same against the bellhousing.

Why wouldn't you just the get 6 speed tranny with the engine?

about to order a s15 sr/sell t28/ use my 2871, sell my s13 sr with IC +full turbo back ehaust/ and use all of my new stuff

s13 tranny will work

you need

s13 transmission bolts
s13 flywheel,clutch,pressure plate
the obvious s13 transmission
a brain

search Ziptied, someone posted about it.
The only things that make the s15 tranny "weak" is the physical fact that the gears are smaller and the ratio isnt a favorite to many.

blitz ran a 400hp s15 on stock transmission with no problem.

may want to switch to the 15' final drive as well to better match the ratio's.

only if he plans on using the 6 speed. though he is asking if he can use a earlier 5 speed which basically means he would most likely not be using the 6 speed. In which case it would be a big mistake for him to put 370(stock s15) final drive ratio in the car. Unless he wants to bog off the line and get great gas mileage.
