S13 Battery Tray Removal

To anyone that has removed a battery tray out of an S13 (preferably, but even an S14)...ANY TIPS?

Where are the spot welds/bolts? I've found 4 welds and removed every bolt I can find...am I missing something, because this mofo seems to be welded in tight.

to the best of my knowledge there are at least 12 spot welds holdind it in. You have to look carefully, but you will find them all. Drill them out, cut, grind and it should come out.

Couple pics of my S14 removed. You can kind of tell where the spot welds were.

i pretty much found the obvious welds, n took a chisel n hammered through them (after cutting the brackets holding it to the bay). then realized there were like 10 more welds in the middle that are like impossible to get to, so i got frustrated, took a long bar, and jus pried the holding off. lol it actually worked great, but theres probably a chance that you can pop a hole into your engine bay
