RB Name that Connector!! RB20det

I was poking around under the hood and noticed that there is a connector hanging under the TB on the fuel rail. its blue and i have no idea what its for. I was thinking mayby its a CC conncector (which my donor car did not have). anyways, if you have an idea, let me know.

that is for the the idle air control valve regulator valve. it regulates the air that goes to the iac. it's the goofy looking thing that mounts i wanna say right by the oil filter cooler. where that blue plug plugs on is black, it has a little plate on the side of it where it mounts with two 10mm bolts, and the actual thing is a square shaped guy with vacuum bungs on both sides and the long tail out the back that has the black portion where the blue plug plugs to. basically it bypasses the throttle body by getting air from a port on the intercooler piping BEFORE the throttle body, then the other end goes AFTER the throttle body and connects to the iac, it's a little valve that opens to let more air in, and closes to let less air in. it's whole function is to assist in cold starts =]

so is there a reason it would be disconnected?? My swap was done by a shop, who pulled it out of the front clip i delivered. My car does rev at about 1.5-2k rpm before its warm, but then is fine after that.

what he said =]

you know your friend's with rb's that never start up cold the first try, or they have to play with the gas pedal to get it to start when cold, ya, those guys prolly don't have theirs wired in cause to get your rb20 running is all of 3 wires ^_^, if you want cold starts you pay extra lol. it's the solid light blue wire on the dash plug that gets ignition 12volts ^_^, it also does shit like heat the o2 sensor so you're not running closed loop as long oOOOooOOooo but anywho i don't have the iac or that valve on my rb25 and it starts right up everytime hot or cold ^.- muwhahaha BUKAKE!!
