You need to search more. That piece is the air-oil separator. It does what the name implies.
You can run a hose from here to there, but expect blowby. You need to rethink how you're going to route the catch can. There are many writeups and many options to choose. |

since your running a oil catch can, there shouldn't be any blow-by issue from routing the back hose as you have drawn it. Alot of aftermarket manifolds come with a hose to replace the seperator upon installation. I've been running mine like that for 2 years now with no signs of blow-by, and thats without a catch tank also...just a breather filter n the front side of the "t"
