AFAIK you should be able to do it with only jackstands, it helps having a friend because its a long piece. If you have someone holding the other end while you tighten the bolts, it should go fairly smoothly. Just dont forget to soak the rusted nuts in "nut buster" I believe it was, or use WD-40, do that a couple hours before. Now you should be all set. Good luck &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I believe it would be easier with a lift. &nbsp; You might get lucky and stop by a high school w/garage and see if you can use there lift. &nbsp; That's what I plan to do, but then again I used to go to that school and the teacher is cool with me.

it would definitely be easier with a lift but i believe it is very much do-able on jackstands...i put my tranny in with the car on jackstands cuz i dont have a lift and i'm not paying some guy 600$ to do it for me when i know im completely capable.

the hardest part is getting the bolts off the original exhaust. me and my 2 friends spent at least 1 to 2 hours trying to get them off before we gave up and i had to take it to a shop... we tried wd40 among some other stuff i can't remember... the shop said that the bolts were so rusted that they had to cut them off or something, lol.
