Which brand do you recommend and what model? I'm really thinking about the Centerforce II. I'm hoping to after all my mods be pushing around 180 ft-lbs and somewhere around 160-170hp. Which Centerforce model should i go with? I? II? or Duao Friction? or if you think i should go ACT, which model should i do? and a link please?

And... for short shifter kits for a 92 240, what do you recommend? Why does the B&M foes for $250, while the OBX goes for $100,00!!?? is the OBX that much crappier then the B&M? which one do you recommend?

I don't know anything about those clutches.  I'd get a slightly stiffer one (stage 2 of whatever model) just because it feels better...even if you don't need it to hold 180ft lbs.

As for the short shifters, I think you'll be happy with either.  I have the obx...its OK.  Definately worth the money but I'd rather spend the extra to get a nicer unit like the b&m, in fact, I plan to upgrade to the b&m sometime in the future.

i actually plan on maybe staying with stage 1.. i mean... stage 1 is ok for up to 250 ft-lbs of torque... and anything over that would mean a lot more work... LSD/Driveshaft? to support the 250 torque... my real concern here is the clutch.. Centerforce or ACT? nways... DSC, you think that B&M would be that much nicer then OBX? how much of an improvement did you see with the OBX? and what r u hoping with the B&M?

Clutches - go with ACT or SPEC.  Centerf*cked is no good.

Short shifter - From what I have heard, go with the B&M, its a more direct feel and rachets against the gate like a Ferrari. &nbsp; How can you go wrong with that? &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Act Clutches for sure. I think I read somewhere Centerforce Clutches Dual Friction are cheaply made, one side is Thermal Resin compound?(Correct me if I'm wrong) and the other side is made of some cheap non-asbestos disc.

CLUTCHMASTERS is the best clutch. &nbsp; My buddy had a Centerforce dual friction and it went after a year or so. &nbsp; He has a KA-T. &nbsp; He put in a Clutchmaster stage 2. &nbsp; They have the stoxk pedal feel but they really grip. &nbsp;I have the stage three in my sr car. &nbsp; They feel like stock but the stage three holds 110% over stock. &nbsp;Just make sure you break in whatever you end up getting.
