don't worry about what's already happened, and what doesn't really matter.

I like the car in your sig, but you should erase the wing, it shouldnt be hard since its a drawing with no background. Wingless S14s look pimp. For example, look above

Not perfect, but nearly there

Anyway, this topic gets covered about once a week. Drive what you like, forget about what everybody else is doing.

PS: big sigs are starting to really get on my nerves...when your sig is larger then your average post...its too big.

240sx will never become like Civics. There's a reason for that:

1. The 240sx is out of production.
2. There is not many 240sx left to buy.
3. Owners tend to keep their 240sx.

Granted, you will find a few riced out 240sx, but you'll never find it in the same proportion of the Civic.

I know that 240sx will never be as popular as Civics, but if for strange reason this is posible I'll sell my 240sx and get another car.

So how many times a day does someone call you a "poser"??
I'll tell you right now, 240's are getting extremely popular (proof is in 2 or 3 240's being featured or shown in every import mag in the past few months) and tons of ignoramuses are jibber-jabbing about SR's and Silvias.

So, how much are you selling for?

Civics are probably becoming to common. come on most people drive one of to cars that they try to mod and "pimp" out. Always you see civics and integras. So people are now moving on to other cars. Just happens that the 240 may be one of the "new" cars of choice amoung those in the scene because look at the facts. This holds especially for the s13.
price range:1000-6000 depending
Mods: there are alot
Riceability:***** Warning this car has high riceablitiy when left to the wrong hands*****
Like others say just do your thing and pass over those you see and don't like. remember what is actually cool is the fact you can express yourself through your car. It just happens not all people will be as equally proficient or like the same style.

Just because magazines are showin ours cars, doesn't mean that 240's are getting "extremely popular." They just getting noticeable. And why do people have to hate when they see an opinion they don't agree with?

Hey, I'm just trying to save you time. If you bought a 240sx just to be original or different, you pretty much screwed yourself. Really, if you're willing to sell your car just because of what other people think or how many other people own the same thing, you've got some messed up priorities.

IMO, nothing gets "riced out" more than the S13. Look at an option mag or option vid and just try and count the amount of stickers or "mods" that go on S13's.

nice statement.

when you say "mods" what do you mean. im pretty sure all of us on this board have mods, so does that make us rice? when i mod my car im not modding it to get attention, or to try to be a racer(just a tiny bit) but mainly because im a car enthusiest(sp?)

I didn't say anything about selling my car. I've had it for almost 2 years and I won't sell it until I can get a better car, and I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.
I've personally never seen a riced out 240sx, I mostly see stock, and slightly modified 240's.

Um... If you havent noticed in japan.... 240's are civics!!! They might be even more popular. I'll put money on the fact that some guy in Japan is on a Honda post praying that civic's dont become as popular as the silvia.
Anyway, If you just bought the 240 cause you wanted to be diffrent then maybe you should sell it. You should buy a car cause you like it, not because of what other ppl. think or what others do to theirs. Thats why I havent bought my 240 yet. Still trying to decide if its the right car for me.

240's are getting popular..last year there was only 4 S-14's (including myself) at my school. Now there are 8....trust me thats alot for the S-14 where I live. People are starting to notice the 240 and want to move over from the Civic/Integra crowd. So far I have only seen two riced out 240's...one S-13 and the other S-14.

The has very high riceability...its easier to find, cheaper and alot of parts available.

The reasons why you don't see that many riced out 240's are because:

* An S-14 is hard to find and when you do find one your pockets quite empty.

* Most of the parts are expensive and not that many stores carry them easily unlike a Civic

* Not that many people like the styling of the S-13

* Insurance is very high, since most companies register them as sports cars.

* JDM parts are harder to come by and more expensive

there is more.....but you get my point......right?

Today I saw a horrible 240.
It had deteriorated paint, stickers all over the car, an aluminum wing-which I didn't pay attention to because I was trying to see the stickers. It also had the old black iron rims, and I could hear he got a muffler. The car wasn't even lowered.
Some people are cruel(ignorant) to their cars.
