s13 before i do my 300zx brake swap, i want to clear something.....HELP ME OUT

hi
i'm going to do my front 300zx brake swap with a new 300zx MC next week on my 90 non ABS 240sx. i have searched this whole morning but still have some questions!!

1. I read some posts said that i need to bleed the MC if it's new, but some said dont' have to. Do i really need to bleed the new MC? If so, how do i do that, any one can give me a step-by step on how to bleed the MC?

2. what's the RIGHT order for bleed the system? on my service manual it says
Left Rear -> Right rear -> Left Front -> Right Front, is that the correct order, cause i read a couple people using different order when they bleed....and they had no problem with it!
And Left means driver side, and right means pass. side right? i want to make it clear.

3. is there anything i need to be extra carefull with? i do not want to screw up my brake system, don't want to be unstoppable...........

thanks a lot guys......

Okay I'm gonna be nice.
it is good to bleed the master cylinder before you put it in.
1. put fluid in the resivoir and pump it until fluid comes out.
The proper way to bleed it is left rear, right rear, right front, left front.
Just follow the brakelines, start the farthest away and work your way to closest.
make sure you check for leaks and all of your seals are good, use a torque wrench.

Brake Fluid will take paint off. Take your time and use a flare nut wrench on the brake lines. It is a pretty straight forward install.

'bleeding the mc when its new'
its called bench bleeding

you hold the mc in your hand. i.e. not installed in car
you put the reservoir in the top
you hook up hoses to where the hardlines plug in
route them back to the reservoir unless you want fluid all over the place
then you jam something into the back of the m/c and pump it in until you see no more bubbles in the hoses.
then you install it. you still need to bleed the brakes afterwards, of course

almost all rebuilt m/c's will have the appropriate plastic fittings and hoses included in the kit that allows you to do this

thanks for the info......i was during the process of swaping today....and the hub cap took me forever to take them out......2 hours for taking the cape off ....

i have one problem, i know we are going to reuse the 19mm bolts we took out from the old caliper, but for some reason, mine does not fit the new 300zx caliper. The caliper has smaller holes than the 19mm bolt, it is real hard to tight it down......

can someone help me with this problem? i never seen any one has this problem before......

help help
