Suspension Questions- (what's yoshio and tein vs sportlines)
I did a search for "YOSHIO" and nothing came up.
What exactly is Yoshio and what type of quality do their parts have? I have a set of s14 Yoshio "factory 6 way adjustable" struts and am basically wondering how good they are, how much abuse they will take, how stiff they are, are they rebuildable, etc. Also, what is a better spring? Sportline or Tein? thanks in advance... |

They are just blinged up HKS,
Sportline or Tein? Neither. Go with Swift springs. Edit: I was thinking coilovers. I don't know anything about the struts they make. But sportline springs should be fine for a strut/spring combo.

those struts are directly comparable to a simlar tein setup, sportline springs would be a very good choice for yashio struts
did you buy these off the guy in socal? i was looking to buy those, if so they have sportline springs on them EDIT: if you want to get rid of them i'll buy them PM ME :] |

Um you know which struts you have? I believe there 2 or 3 of them I dunno. Yashio Spec Plus then the Regular one... I dunno someone that can read Japanese would help more on there website.

I have no clue about the struts themself, but from my assumptions they should be decent. Also, going off what that other guy said if they're re-badged HKS they can't be bad right?
Anyway, Yashio Factory is somewhat known as the silvia experts and mainly work on nothing but the S chassis but i've seen them work on Z33's as well. Their color is hot pink as you can tell and they have a S15 that runs 56-58 secs around tsukuba? |
