So i just have to drive like this? Is it the synchro or something? When parked it just clicks into gear, but while moving it chirps. only 3rd. Is the transmission gonna work alright for a while? Am i gonna damage anything, i'm wondering if it was like this before the install.

did you check to see if you have enough trans fluid? If you decide to you need a new tranny.. i have a good working SR tranny ill sell you for cheap =)

Most likely synchro

If you must drive it this way for awhile, then i suggest you at lease drain/refill your trans with a better Oil. Royal Purple or Redline to help you through smoother shifts and less wear.

But i would definately get it fixed.

not sure, i put about 1.8 qts, I'm probably gonna use this transmission for a while hopefully.

Trans requires 2.4 qts.
