Down the road Im going with a KA24DET setup and it looks like upgraded internals are needed for anything higher than 7 psi boost. Im looking to get up to the neighborhood of 15-20 psi. I understand the connecting rods and pistons will need to be upgraded to accomplish this.

First, is there anything else that will need to be upgraded to sustain the pressure? Im talking about the block itself and not the injectors or anything like that. All 'accessories' would be done.

Second, do you have to pull the engine out of the car to change out the pistons and rods?</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
You can go over 7 psi on stock parts, but thats another thread in itself.....

Take the block out of the car, its not that hard and will save you work.

Definitly get forged pistons and rods! Get your head worked on a bit too.
