I have a 1990 240 Cream white, creamy white, whatever you know what I mean:)
Does anyone know if it's a clear coat paint or not?

Your car is Ivory white, after 12 years, your clear coat might'a worn off.

if you applicator turns the color of your car when you wax, you dont have a clearcoat.  my s14 also has a sticker in the engine bay over the spring/strut that says clear coat

As far as I know, most solid color cars don't have clear coats.  The paint is therefore more prone to oxidation and chipping.
