ok i was driving with my heater blasting.....i barely started havign this problem tonight.... my RPMs would fluxuate below 500 rpms to 600...when im breaking and i clutch it then shift to neutral, the car would die shortly and then turn back on with a quickness...sometimes it would die fully...i dont think it would have something to do with my injectors.....i have a lot of thoughts on to what it might be... but maybe one of you guys experienced it and could tell my exactly or closely to what it might be....

thanks

My car did this when I first bought it.  Now it's doing it again.  It may be because the Temperature is changing outside??  I'd like to know what the problem is too.

My car began doing this at about winter time last year, and i found out i needed a new fuel injector.  The cost was about 300 total parts and labor.  If i could have done it myself like i could now, it would have only costed me 112 for the injector itself.  It did the same thing about 2 months afterwards when it was about 40 degrees outside.  Now that it is beginning to get cold again here, it is acting up again doing the same thing you described.  I honestly have no idea what it could be.  I've found that fooling with the MAF sensor connection causes the car to start right up without problems.  Hopefully you have the cheaper problem, not the 112+ dollar problem.  Good Luck

Could be a fuel problem, like others have said.

Also, check the IAA valve.  This is a valve mounted to the back of the intake manifold that controls the amount of air going into the engine to maintain idle speed.  If the IAA is stuck closed, the engine could have a hard time maintaining its target idle speed.  The IAA itself might need cleaning/replacement, or it might just be a bad electrical connection.

This is the most likely culprit if low idle speed is your only issue.  Other things can cause low idle speed and stalling, but they're usually accompanied by misfiring, extremely rich a/f ratio, loss of power, something like that.

I have this same problem when the idle screw is adjusted for a smooth idle.  However, when the idle is set to a little lumpy, the car runs great.  I am sure mine has something to do with the 75mm ProM Pro-flo MAF I have while the SR20DET JWT ECU was programmed for the '93 Cobra MAF.

I have yet to pull my MSD 72lb injectors to make sure they are working properly.
