I bought a radio harness for my aftermarket radio. The radio is not powering up and I wired everything except for the Amp wire and the Power Antenna. Can someone tell me whats the prob. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Check to make sure the yellow wire is conected good along with the red one. If so check the fuses if those are good you will need to make sure you have power with a volt meter, You need a costant 12 volts on the yellow and you will need 12 on the red when the key is turned to the on position..hope this does some good
Oh yeah make sure you have a ground also... |

This might seem trivial, but make sure your actual antenna is plugged into the back of the radio. IIRC, when I was putting my deck in, it wouldn't power up unless the antenna was plugged into the radio...

put the ground wire somewhere near the radio, it might not be grounding correctly with the harness you bought. this was my problem.
