are there different sr20det starters? someone is trying to say that this starter is a sr20det starter http://i6.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/d4/b0/9566_1.JPG

but it looks more like a KA starter, as i have never seen a SR starter with that protruding piece. All the ones i have seen are like this: http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/view...tarterS131.JPG

just curious to know if maybe there is an SR starter that has this piece...maybe a non OEM repacement?

The KA and the SR are different starters, however, there's a thread on nico that shows you how make the KA go onto the SR. I believe you have to swap the top portion of it, where the gear is.

yeah i know about the swapping parts from the ka starter onto the main body of the sr starter. I just want to know if the first starter pictured could possibly be a SR starter, or is it a KA starter that someone is trying to sell as a SR starter.

SR Starters all look like the second one,
Excepet for the Pulsar GTI-R I think it has that dome piece over it, but no it wont work for an FR SR

Go ahead and buy a new or get it rebuilt so ya never have to worry about it again for along time, Fuck Ebay used shit
