Help me out!! lowering spring question.

Ok so I want to get a set of springs for my 97 240 but Im not sure what to go with. I am only gonna be using the car for daily driving...to work and such. So I don't need to be track ready. I just want something that is gonna give me a nice drop. Right know I am on stock wheels but I plan on going with some 18's in the near future... what spring do you all recommend and If you have a recommendation from a personal experience can you post pics of the car with the springs on?

Thanks alot guys

I have KYB Struts and k-sport springs....nice ride, not too bumpy and bouncy, but firm.

if I ever bought a shock/spring combo it would be kyb agx's with rsr race springs, drops it enough that with 17's you might not need to roll the fenders (depends on offset/tire sizes), theres probably some pictures online but basically with the 350z track wheels there is like 1/4 inch of wheel gap, maybe less

consider upgrading your shocks along with the springs.

check out some eibach or tein or goldline or whatever springs are springs usually(size and fitment wise, NOT QUALITY WISE). you COULD put eibach sportlines on your stock shocks and get like a 1.5-1.75" inch drop but your shocks will not be happy in a month

after deciding against starlet coilovers for the terc(too many monies) i went with kyb gr2's and the eibach prokit. these dont have the "coilover sleeves" they are just tuned to be stiffer and lower the car SLIGHTLY, which is ideal for me because anything more than a 1.5" drop for me results in me needing and adjustable rear panhard bar...no thanks... in my particular case, a slight drop and some spacers on the wheels (rolling steelies, even sportmax is too expensive for me...) resulted in a nice looking fitment...it wouldnt be much for fitment whore status, but it looks clean and its practical for what i do...

Lowering springs? Tanabe DF210. These springs are going to give you one of the lowest drops out there for lowing springs, while still offering excellent ride comfort and stability. PM me if your interested...

Best springs I'd say are the Swift sport mach or Eibach sportlines
