Quick SR question - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

It seems that in the last few weeks that my thermostat is now stuck open. My heater never get hot anymore unless i drive it kinda hard......but I just need to know if I can use the B14 SR20DE thermostat...

they should be interchangeable but i think they have different temperature ranges.

i just want a definate answer......good call on the different temperature ranges.......i have been searching all over the place to find the proper temp ranges......hopefully i will come across something

well i got the info from a shop owner in Arizona who does SR swaps..... however he does them for fwd so i don't know if there's a difference between the two.

The temperature range is embossed into the top of the thermostat. Well, it should be. For US-legal cars, at least...
