i have a s14sr20det......and have the circuit sports steel braided line kit....the oil line fitting that goes to the block is stripped and lets keeps backing out of the block shooting oil everywhere.......i know this is a wierd question but does anyone know what size that fitting is? im trying to order another one online but dont know how to get the size.....no one in our town has them......

its the smallest oil line....guessing the return line

This is a guess, but did you use the banjo fitting on the block?
It's obvious you didn't. Try swapping the banjo fitting to the block and put the 90* on the turbo. If you still have leaks, you may have to re-tap...

The small line is oil feed. The big tube that runs down under the turbo, is the oil return.

I forget the sizes but, you have everything there??!

M12x1.25. I had that happen on a redtop,
thats what I get for being impatient and
trying to install turbos outside
when there was a foot of snow on the ground.
Bolt keep backing out, stripped almost polished inside. I tried new one.
Nothing...
Order a Taka Lines (old style) AN fitting for the oil feed threaded in perfect for some reason. (I was going to have it welded) No issues about 15,000miles since. No leaks

8 bucks but there is no restrictor...if you need the restrictor do Taka. Or just do Taka anyway because he is the man.

Oh yea and it'd be good to have a copper crush washer in there too where it meets the block

i saw that one although the that fitting has a 3AN instead of a -3AN.....on my fitting the male end indents inwards not outwards like the one pictured above....the fitting i have has a little longer threads on the right side of that picture and where it cones outwards mine cones inwards.....guess thats the -3AN part

The (-) is a dash, not a negative sign if that's what you are thinking.

The size is pronounced "dash 3".

Why would you need the concave and not the convex. If I remember you only the the concave for the fitting on the turbo and not the block.

true but this is 12x1.25.

and yes....the concave should go on the turbo but not the block.the reason i had it backwards is because on the circuit sports kit the oil line fitting to the turbo was threaded too long....when fully tightened it still showed 3 or 4 threads sticking out...which is why i overtightened it and stripped it out. i figured it threaded allt he way in whereas this was not the case....i then figured that the banjo went to the turbo because it fully threaded...then used tthe 90degree fitting to the block with the remaining threads that werent stripped....which ended up backing out and not working. the threads are very close but obviously not the same

what the fuck are you guys doing.

the block fitting isn't inverted flare.

The Turbo fitting is. The turbo fitting is -3an to 1/4th Inverted Flare. .030 Restrictor.

Mc Russell is right. On the turbo you use the inverted flare fitting (the one in the ATP page. Even if it doesn't thread all the way down, it does not seal on the threads but the flare so it doesn't matter if it threads all the way down or not.

Just use the first one I first posted for the block and buy the restrictor fitting for the turbo. Done done done...thread closed.

if the fitting is stripped you need to helicoil it.

it will fuck the block before the fitting.

its 12x1.25 -3AN, you don't need to pay for a Banjo fitting.
