So apparently u can get projector or non headlights for your S13 JDM front end.  My question is can u get HID's for the both of them or just the projector, or niether.

yes s13s have 3 headlights:

dual projector
triple projector
non-projector

you can do HID on them all i believe. non projector being easiest because you dont need to worry about the beam pattern being off.

just gotta get the correct bulb type and wire it up.

i've always wondered what makes a projector work? is it just more concentrated light in one beam instead of being cast in many directions?

A projector headlight works like a slide projector.  Instead of the light pattern being determined by a single compound lens, it uses a system of lenses to focus the light into the desired pattern.

just buy projectors and buy a HID kit for it.

thats wat ima do for my s15 headlights.
