rb20 short shifter

ok so a friend of mine is trying to buy a short shifter for his rb20 and bought one off egaaaay for around a bill. . . but all those damn shifters say the same thing " 240sx r32 r33" but i tried to put it in and of course it doesnt fit, the middle bolt on the left side is wrong and the shifter angle in the tranny is wrong! so what the hell can he order?

The short shifter I have in my RB20 trans is from a SR20. The B&M plate you would need to drill a new hole and seal up the other to get it work.

and SR and KA short shifters are the same..so ideally yours should work....thats ebay for ya. Just for the books, i LOVE my fidanza 2 pc weighted shifter.....worth a look

get b&m short shifter, and ka striker arm, you need to grind down the shifter plate to hit 3, 1 and 5 better the TOP plate with the 4 allen bolts, and i knowcaise i HAVE IT, and drill new mounting holes

nevermind i found it on NICO, you have to replace the RB striker arm with one from the old KA tranny and grind a little on the upper plate of the shifter and drill the one big hole. . . not too bad, thanks anyways guys.
