tension rod install.

just put on my new adjustable tension rods. only question is, do i tighten the "bushing" end before or after i lower the car down? i assume after since there is no movement in that end when its tight. if this is the case, how can i be sure where is the right spot for the swivel part to be before i tighten things up?

I'll help you out.
I noticed when I installed mine that when the wheels are off of the ground the hem joint is even -[]- but when the tires are on the ground the hem joint is slanted -//-. It should be even when the tires are on the ground so there is an even amount of travel within the hem joint for flexing?
What I did is just look at the way they were leaning -\\- and then jack up the rear and turn the hem joint the oppisite way -//- then retighten them and lower the car back down and they now are straight -||-!!

make sure you measure when your putting the car back on the ground!!! you want nice even tire wear and if your not getting an alignment make sure you measure the angle from the inside of the wheel. ie: //top of the inside wheel and 90 perpendicular measurement from the lower inside of the wheel. I wish I could explain better. But that worked for me
