I am planning on getting (for real no n00b talk about turbo w/nos) a Pioneer deh-p7400mp (~$230 thezeb.com), Audiobahn Aluminium components (~$80 ebay), amp to power the components (not sure which one yet maybe someone can offer a solution under $200), and infinity reference 4x6 in the back (~$42 ebay). Anybody have a reason why some of these are good or bad and what i should get different (HU must play mp3s though)? Also i know that i saw a previous post where someone had a picture of their component install in the front door of an s13, i searched but couldn't find it, so if anyone has installed components in their door i would appreciate any advice. What is the best size component 5.25" or 6.5" for the door? Is a sub really necessary if i have components (i know they aren't the same but will the components go low enough?)? Any advice would be appreciated.

thx everybody
I have a '91 s13 w/stock stereo(amped version) w/all blown speakers

the components will play most of the bass notes, just not as loudly or compellingly as a sub woofer, u might want to try hearing the components hooked up to the head unit first before buying an amp, the mosfet 50 is pretty beefy, and the head unit is a great choice, what u can do is focus on the front component set and forget about the rear deck speakers, instead get a sub woofer and amp, u dont really need any rear speakers, the soundstage should be up front any ways personally i like to have fronts and rears but this is more cost effective in my opinion
