S14 Kouki Airbag light blinking w/works bell hub and resistor? Please Help.....

Ok I have a 98' s14 with works bell short hub and resistor for the airbag system. It has been installed with no problems for about a year. Now the airbag light just came on out of no where and I tried resetting it but it doesn't work.( press door sensor 7x in 5 sec. with key in on position.) Also when I try this I believe there should be a code being thrown out, but the light just has a constant 1 second interval. I am not doing this correct? Is the resistor screwed up already? or could it be the diagnosis sensor unit?
Please help... Thanks in advance.

Check to make sure the resistor is plugged in properly and not loose. Then try doing the aribag reset trick with the door thing. And isn't it just push it 5x or something like that?

If that doesn't work check out your passenger air bag too. I've heard of a few people having problems like that.

Sorry I forgot to mention, I did that today. It was still on the plug pretty tight so I just made sure it still was. I might just take it out again and measure the resistance to see if it is still functional. In the fsm it says atleast 5x within 7 seconds. The passenger airbag is still connected, but I did not test it.

7 times within 5 seconds, the code will then flash. After receiving a code, turn the key off then do the diagnostics again. That will reset it if the problem was erratic. If not, whatever code you receive you need to replace that part.

I tried to do it again, but the light just has the same 1 second interval, it seems like I am not getting in the diagnostic mode.
