james - sounds like you threw a weight and need to get your tires rebalanced. That is usually the case when you get a shake at a specific MPH.

Ming - get your front brake rotors resurfaced - they are probably warped. That causes a shake when braking.

Depends - many shops will do a re-balance for free if you bought/installed the tires there. If not, I don't really know - I'd guess $25? At any rate, it's not too pricey - just call around. You can also get a lifetime balance and rotation from shops for pretty cheap so you don't have to play rotate every few months.

What speed rating are your tires? I had the same problem with 205/55R16 T rated tires, when I put some H's on my car the vibrations stopped.

When you put the new tires on, they had to be remounted and balanced. That more likely stopped the vibration.

When was the last time your checked your brakes. Nissan rotors are known to warp very easily. You made just need to get your rotors re-surfaced, to get rid of any imperfections. My steering wheels shakes like a mutha, and I'm pretty sure I need a brake job. So I"m gonna get some cross-drilled Brembo rotors front and back, and Axxis metal masters, or some other form of metal or carbon based pads. Hopefully that does the trick....we'll see.
