Is it possible to buy an oil relocation kit, and run the turbo oil lines off of that instead of tapping the oil pan? In theory, could I run the turbo feed line straight from the relocation kit, return line to the oil cooler, and then back to the relocation kit? A buddy at a local shop recommended this, but I don't know if it would be reliable, or a good approach. Thanks in advance.

The point of dumping the return oil back into the pan is to allow it to "de-foam" as it gets really bubbly from the spinning turbo (at least this is what I've read...as I can't see inside the motor). I would say this is not the best thing to put through and oil cooler. But you *can* tap off the sender for the supply line Only bummer with that is that it's on the opposite side of the motor.

The oil needs to drain out of the turbo with gravity, so you won't be able to get it to flow through the oil cooler. I drilled out and tapped my dipstick hole, so that's how I did it with out welding on the oil pan, but then you have to figure out another way to check your oil level :-)

I agree with grumpy

Well alright. Thanks for the responses, and I'll pass on the kit. I didn't think it would be a good way to do it, or else it would have been done a lot more. Thanks again.
