Or you can pull the fuel pump fuse and try to start it! It will either evacuate the fuel or even run on all the gas in the cylinders until it all burns out! Then you install the fuse and try again to start it

be careful. Your cylinders are probably completely washed. You might scratch up your walls. Put a cap of engine oil into your spark plug holes just in case...

since it's a ka, it receives cam position via the distributor. he won't get injector pulse or spark with the distributor unplugged.

*Free tip* unplugging the distributor/cam angle sensor is also a great way to prime oil pressure on a fresh motor or one that's been sitting for a long time before the first cold start with no oil pressure.

thank you, what plug should I remove from the distributor? i know theres like 3 of them. Plus My little brother decided to " Fix my car " a while back and he took out my distributor/wires etc. and re arranged it like a retard. Can this affect anything and if so what is the proper order of the spark wires. I know they are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 but IM not sure.

your firing order is 1,3,4,2

the spark plug wires sit on your distributor cap and go to the following cylinders. your engine spins clockwise in it's rotation if you're facing it. and your distributor spins counter clockwise facing it

if you're looking at your distributor the spark plug wires go to the cylinders as follows

top left goes to cylinder 1
bottom left goes to 3
bottom right goes to 4
top right goes to 2

unplug the ENGINE HARNESS from the distributor, to disable fuel/spark so it's safe to crank over

Dave

don't unplug the fuel pump, remove the fuel pump fuse... it's a large fuse and it resides in the fusebox on the passenger side of your engine bay... the lid of the fusebox has all the fuse locations.

its a 95 s14. I bought it for extremely low price, 1,500. Its at 210,000 miles plus its salvage title, it was running before. I started having problems and replaced ALOT of things. From fuses, starter, battery, alternator, spark plugs. Compression is fine, it was badly taken care of. Im a part time employee at mcdonalds/student. I dont have more than 300 dollars in my wallet/bank account. I can't afford to pay a mechanic, so Im doing all the research I need to to fix my car. I dont race/drift any of that. I just bought a 240 because It was cheap plus new engines/parts are cheap as well.

i already told you what to do....

cranking over the motor when the cylinders are full of fluid is a great way to bend a rod whether the fuel pump is running or not. one of your pistons is gonna be on it's compression stroke and if the cylinder is full of fluid, the cranks gonna push the piston up, the pistons gonna stop at the fluid cause it can't go up any higher, and your rod and wrist pin will most likely bend.

i think you should unplug your fuel pump, it sounds like the safest option.......

this is like the conversations that go on at the shop
you say "run sea foam through the motor to clean the gunk outta there"
they say "so i can use stp"
you say "....yup, exactly!"

you say "you have to peel the banana and take the skin off it before you can eat it"
they say "so i can just eat the banana then right?"
"......yup"

Dave

Remove spark plugs.
Pull wire from coil to distributor.
Spin engine a few revolutions.
Make a mess.
Replace plugs/wires, reconnect coil.
Clean mess.
Start car (warning, it will NOT start as easily as you're used to, as it has to get fuel).

You should ALSO do this if you replace an injector.
