s14 power window issue

hey guys

i have an issue with my power windows on the driver side. if i ROLL it all the way down. it'll make some kind of a whining noise inside the door.

then i can't roll it up, i have to hold it the up button for a very long time.

the whines go in an out every 3-5 secs it just makes this eeeeeee fading away eeeee sound.

not sure what's wrong but, would like to get it fixed before i can never open the window again =(

Not as likely as something else. Unplug the motor plug and hook a battery to it to make certain it's really the problem. You can also watch the regulator and see if it's binding as it moves which could easily be the problem too.
