intercooler, stock turbo, question!

hey kids- its mixedwell again. anyways i found a really nice s13 SR20DET that i want to drop in my OWN car. hehe my first redtop SR20DET! yay! ok enough! ! ! anyhoo i know exactly where the motor is coming from and what condition its in except the morot just doesnt come with two crucial parts: the ECU and the fun little intercooler. (dont ever part away SRs again!) i know i can get the ECU easy but i wanted to get a Spearco intercooler. the car uses the stock turbo and i just wanted an intercooler that'll cool the turbo but i wanted it sorta big so the endtanks wouldnt show. is this a good idea? BIG intercooler little turbo? will thsi effect me any? i also wanted to know about Spearco intercoolers becasue all the intercoolers ive used came from the clips and were HKS or Blitz.


-short version-
is large spearco FMIC ok to use with stock s13 SR20 turbo? the car will only run 9 psi. later i plan to upgrade to a stock s14 turbo or a T3/T4 unit, but nothing super crazy or harcore. what do you guys say? holla

one more thing-

i plan on using custom pipes on the spearco intercooler becasue ther are no IC pipes left. will a good muffler shop install or make the pipes for me or will i have another fun little project ahead of myself?

is the s14 turbo good on the S13 SR20?

large intercooler will give you slight pressure drop but unless you go insanely huge it shouldnt effect you. a good mufflershop should be able to do it.
