I'm considering an 89-93 240sx and swapping a srd20det into. My other option was a mustang which I knowa good amount of stuff about. I'm looking for high 12's or low 13's. I know it would be easier in the mustang but how hard will high or even mid 12s be in an sr20det s13? Also what kinda prices will this end up being? I plan on doing all work myself.

If your doing all the work yourself then you set. You can have a dope ass s13 for cheap.
Check all these sites of a general breakdown on cost of parts. http://www.heavythrottle.com http://www.boostdynamics.com http://www.sr20parts.com High 12's is very ez goal IMHO if you a good driver with a slicks and a few supporting mods to help you get you there. IMHO, id say you could be in the mid 12's for about $8k or less in engine & the mods if you do the work yourself. |
